Our CEO, Kisha Mays, has succeeded on multiple levels in business and a busy personal life but had previously struggled with putting herself first and taking control of her health and weight. Thankfully she has never been a sickly person but as she approached 40 she knew her body deserved and needed more in life.
Fearlessly incorporating a total life change started with changing how and what she ate, exercising more, meditating daily, and adding the right combinations of vitamins and herbs to her diet thereby creating the overall total life change she was seeking for her mind, body, and spirit.
Here are some details in her own words:
My Food Habits – Most people would call this your "diet" but that word can be troubling for some because it means a restriction of sorts on their life and what they can or cannot eat. Much like a New Years Resolution, it won't last. I prefer to call it improving my overall lifestyle. This also includes taking vitamins and supplements that are natural and necessary for my body!
Exercising – I don't like it. Yes I understand the benefits but I still don't like to do it. So I am a work in progress on that but getting better every day. But I do like doing things like Zumba and other cardio. So I am learning to love the feeling I get after I am done and how much stronger I look and feel.
Self Care – I am a big believer of self care. It has different meanings for others, but for me it is all about my me time and doing the things I love outside of my work. It is a nonnegotiable necessity and a priority for me. Because of it my life is so much better
Meditation/Visualization and Daily Reading – A daily requirement to start my day off right. At least 10 minutes daily for meditation/visualization, but many times I can go as long as 30 minutes. Then I read for at least 30 minutes a day mostly self help, wealth building, and business books for continued growth.

Here is my new routine in the morning to start my day.
Meditating: My first thing as I wake up in the morning. At minimum of 15 minutes daily! Usually longer!
Daily Reading: A minimum of 30 minutes daily. Typically self help, nonfiction, business, and wealth building books.
Exercising: At least 3 times a week using a combination of Weights and Cardio for virtual classes in my gym at home.
Eating: I eat 80% clean meaning mostly fruits, vegetables, and grains. It doesn't mean I am perfect but I am mindful of what I eat. Also, drinking a minimum of 1 gallon a water per day as well as tea.
Vitamins and Supplements: I take a daily multi-vitamin as a dose of wellness that helps me operate at my best. I also have a vegan protein powder that I add to shakes and smoothies.
